Experience Yoga as Ceremony as we celebrate the opening and closing of the Dharma Yoga Teaching Course in person. Based on the Dharma Yoga community´s Maha Sadhana format, this will be an extended, ceremonial, 3-hour gathering including rituals, wisdom sharing, live music, asana, pranayama and deep relaxation. This is what you do, this is where you come, when you wish to remember.

In-person, experiential transmission of wisdom at Studio Ma, Oslo. This gathering will take place in the format of a Wisdom Circle and is open to both women practicing and teaching yoga, as well as the men holding space for all of us. With 70-80% of yoga practitioners being female, I feel it is important for our male counterparts to also receive this education, so that all voices and experiences are heard.

In-person, experiential transmission of wisdom at Leela Yoga, Oslo. This will be a ceremonial gathering designed to introduce, demonstrate and talk you through “yoga as ceremony”, while you are experiencing it at the same time. Expect rituals, instruments, sensory stimulation, sharing circles, movement, journal prompts and a closing integration with restorative yoga. Taking notes is highly encouraged, but also soaking it up is most important!

Definitely! If you have completed a previous round of the Dharma Yoga Teaching Course (DYTC) and plan to join the in-person immersion, you can request your 120-Hour certificate upon completion of both.

There will be a total of 40 synchronous hours during this 120-Hour training option, broken down as follows:
9 × 2 hour live calls = 18 hours during the Dharma Yoga Teaching Course (DYTC).
30 hours in-person during the Immersion Retreat.
5 hours opening and closing ceremonies at Joy Yoga, Oslo.
2.5 hours bonus module at Leela Yoga, Oslo.
2.5 hours bonus module at Studio Ma, Oslo.
Total = 40 hours of synchronous training

If you only signed up for the 80-hour online Dharma Yoga Teaching Course, you will receive a certificate for 80 hours of Continuing Education.
To accumulate the hours and receive a 120-hour certificate for Continuing Education, you must sign up for all experiences above, taking place between September 20 and November 16.
